Xoran Technologies Nominated for 2006 Deals of the Year Award

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN (October 23, 2006) - The Michigan Business Review has nominated Xoran Technologies Inc. for the prestigious 2006 Deals of the Year Awards.

Categories for the 2006 Deals of the Year Awards include: banking and finance; construction; development; commercial real estate; residential real estate; non-profits; technology; health care; retail and manufacturing.

Xoran, an Ann Arbor-based medical device company that designs and sells compact, point-of-care computed tomography (CT) scanners, was recognized in the technology category for its multi-million dollar investment in research and development and its planned creation of, 171 new direct jobs and 215 new indirect jobs in Michigan over the next five years.

Xoran also has the opportunity to receive an award for “Dealmaker of the Year”, and - new this year - an award for “Company of the Year.”

The Michigan Business Review obtains public input to determine nominations and, ultimately, winners for the 2006 Deals of the Year Awards.

This is the second year that the Michigan Business Review has recognized the region's leading transactions by announcing winners at an awards gala followed by stories in the publication.
