Xoran Has A Winning Presence At World’s Largest Gathering Of Otolaryngologists

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN (September 28, 2006)– The 2006 American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) Annual Meeting and OTO-Expo held in Toronto proved to be a huge success for Xoran Technologies Inc., who exhibited its flagship point-of-care scanner MiniCAT™, and debuted its latest scanner xCAT™, the first ever mobile volume computed tomography (CT) scanner.

“AAO-HNSF was a great opportunity for us to speak with physicians from not only the United States, but around the world,” said Predrag Sukovic, Xoran’s President and CEO. “It gave us great insight on xCAT™ and its potential. We were also extremely happy with our record number of MiniCAT™ sales off the show floor.”

The 2006 AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting and OTO-Expo gave physicians and exhibitors the chance to meet and discuss current and new technologies specific to ear, nose, and throat (ENT) physicians.

Xoran caught the attention of all attending, with a brand new impressive 30’ square island booth. The booth showcased Xoran’s small, upright, point-of-care CT scanner MiniCAT™, which gave physicians the opportunity to see firsthand its small foot-print, easy-to-use software and patient-friendly design. The booth also featured Xoran’s new mobile CT unit for the OR, xCAT™, which made its debut at the meeting.

While the xCAT™ scanner will not be commercially available until mid-2007, physicians were offered the opportunity to be placed on a wait-list for the delivery of the unit. Booth visitors were able to maneuver the lightweight mobile xCAT™ scanner in the booth, and actively manipulate its CT images with demonstration software.

“We are fast growing company with a steady pattern of success” said Rohini Rebello-D’Souza, Marketing Manager at Xoran, “And our strong presence at the meeting epitomized this very sentiment. All of our employees, customers, vendors and supporters made this event the landmark success that it was. ”

Xoran also spotlighted several current customers as featured users of its MiniCAT™ system. These physicians had the opportunity to speak with attendees about their successes with Xoran and MiniCAT™ and to answer questions about workflow, financial benefits, low radiation dose, accelerated diagnosis and therapy, positive patient responses, and other benefits of the point-of-care scanner.
