Management Team

Predrag ("Pedja") Sukovic-- Co-Founder, President, and CEO, has experience designing and developing instrumentation and signal/image processing algorithms for medical imaging. Mr. Sukovic has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (1994) and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering (1997), both from the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and a Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan (2003).

Neal Clinthorne-- Co-Founder and Vice President, is a Senior Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Radiology at the University of Michigan. He has twenty years of experience in the development of medical imaging instrumentation and image processing methods. He is presently the Principal Investigator on four NIH-funded grants, and holds several patents related to medical imaging technology.

Misha Rakic-- Vice President and CTO, has extensive experience in designing and developing software systems--particularly complex image processing applications, and in managing international software development teams. Prior to joining Xoran, Mr. Rakic founded and served as President and CEO of Myra Consulting, Inc., an international software consulting company. He also served as Senior Software Developer for Cuadra Associates, Inc. in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Rakic has a BS in Electrical Engineering (1995) from the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia.

Jacqueline Vestevich-- Vice President and COO. Prior to joining Xoran, Ms. Vestevich was Founder, President, and CEO of "A Sign From Above, Inc.", a specialty advertising company. Formerly a shareholder at the law firm of Howard & Howard Attorneys, P.C., she specialized in products liability law, representing Fortune 100 companies. Ms. Vestevich is a graduate of The University of Michigan (BA 1983), and Wayne State University Law School (JD 1986).

Advisory Board

Dr. Phillip Scott-- Scientific Advisor, is the Director of the Emergency Stroke Team at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Scott has researched and published extensively in cerebrovascular ischemia and computer applications in emergency medicine. He has served on Steering Committees for Genentech, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, ATLANTIS Stroke Study, and AstraZeneca Stroke Specialists. Dr. Scott holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering; magna cum laude from Duke University (1984), and an M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine (1988).

Dr. Robert J. Singer-- Scientific Advisor, is a nationally recognized neurosurgeon and a partner at Neurological Surgeons, P.C. in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Singer completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He also completed fellowships in Interventional Neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center and Neurovascular Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Jeffrey E. Terrell-- Scientific Advisor, is director of the Michigan Sinus Center and Associate Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Terrell specializes in the medical and surgical management of patients with nasal disorders and sinusitis. He holds an M.D. from Harvard University (1988) and completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (1993).

Stephen M. Humphrey-- Business Advisor, is the President, CEO, and Board member of Graphic Packaging, Inc., a world leader in paperboard, packaging, and packaging machinery, with over $2B in annual sales. Mr. Humphrey has more than 30 years of diverse business experience, including executive positions with National Gypsum Company, Rockwell International, and General Electric Company.
