Environmental Conditions

It is recommended that xCAT® ENT is operated in a climate-controlled clinical or hospital environment.  Changes in temperature may cause the system to require additional calibration.

Operating Requirements

50 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit
(10 to 40 degrees Celsius)
45% to 75% humidity

Storage Requirements

32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit
(0 to 40 degrees Celsius)
30% to 80% humidity

Heat Dissipation

Approx. 500W / 1700 BTU/hr

Caution:  Allow systems temperature to adapt to room temperature before powering up the xCAT® ENT scanner hardware or workstation/server.

Installation/Relocation

The xCAT® ENT cannot be installed or relocated by the user.  Proper and safe setup requires specialized training and must be performed by a Xoran Customer Service Engineer.  Call Xoran Customer Service 1-800-70-XORAN (800-709-6726) for assistance.

Apparent Resistance of the Supply Mains

For the purpose of obtaining the apparent resistance of supply mains on the xCAT® ENT CT system, resistance is determined according to the following formula:

R= U0 - U1 / I1

Where:
U0 is the no-load MAINS VOLTAGE.
U1 is the MAINS VOLTAGE under load.
I1   is the mains current under load.

xCAT® ENT CT system utilizes single-phase power so measurements were performed between phase and neutral.

Apparent Resistance of Supply Mains of xCAT® ENT is: 0.171ohms including 15’ long 16AWG medical grade power cord.

Maximum Apparent Resistance should not exceed 1.54 ohms (including supply means) for proper function of xCAT® ENT.
