Management Team
Neal Clinthorne (Co-Founder and CEO) Mr. Clinthorne, a Xoran co-founder, has in excess of 30 years of experience in the development of medical imaging instrumentation and image processing methods. He has held various positions within the company including Chairman and Vice President, and has most recently guided the efforts of Xoran's research team. Neal has also been the Principal Investigator on numerous NIH and DoD grants and holds several patents related to medical imaging technology. He currently holds a position as a Research Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Michigan.
Maribeth Beatty, SPHR (Director of Human Resources) Maribeth joined Xoran in 2005 as the company's first dedicated Human Resources Manager. Maribeth has 17 years of experience in creating and managing a Human Resources department in a number of small to mid-sized companies. In addition to Human Resources, Maribeth has managed other corporate functional resources within Xoran, including process improvement, IT, Document Control, and Office Administration. She has a BA in HRIM from Michigan State University and is SPHR certified.
Lara Brown (Director of Operations) Lara joined Xoran in 2011 to lead improvements in supplier management as well as operations. Prior to that, she held various management positions in quality, manufacturing and engineering at Pall Corporation. Lara holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from Binghamton University, NY and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Brian Dawson (Director of Quality) Brian joined Xoran in 2012 and brings over 20 years of wide-ranging experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, mostly within the quality management discipline. Brian has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is an RAB/QSA Certified Quality Management System Auditor.
Joe French (Director of Customer Service) Joe joined Xoran in 2007 as a Customer Service Engineer and assumed the role of Tech Support / Training Engineer in 2008. Joe moved into the Customer Service Manager position in 2011 prior to promotion to his current assignment in 2012. Joe received his degree in Computer Information Systems from ITT Tech in 2007.
Jodie Haberkorn (Controller) Jodie joined Xoran in 2005. Prior to that, Xoran was a client of Jodie’s while she was working at Zalenko and Associates, where she held an accountant position for five years. Jodie has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University.
Brian Jones (Executive Director of Global Sales and Marketing) Brian joined Xoran in 2012. He has over 17 years of experience in the advanced imaging sciences including 12 years within international markets. Brian has developed and led product management, marketing, sales, technical service and business management teams within the biomedical and industrial imaging sciences. Brian attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, NY, in the Applied Imaging Sciences BS program of Imaging and Photographic Technology.
David Luick (Director of Sales) David joined Xoran in 2007 as a Sales Associate. He assumed the position of Product Manager in 2009 and was promoted to his current role in September 2011. Previous to Xoran his experience includes health care consulting and lobbying for physician groups and hospitals. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Michigan State University and a certificate in Product and Service Design from Cornell University.

Predrag 'Pedja' Sukovic (Co-Founder) Pedja has experience designing and developing instrumentation and signal/image processing algorithms for medical imaging. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Biomedical Engineering, both from the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and a Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Jacqueline Vestevich (Director) Jacqueline prior to joining Xoran was Founder, President and CEO of "A Sign From Above, Inc.", a specialty advertising company. Formerly a shareholder at the law firm of Howard & Howard Attorneys, P.C., she specialized in products liability law, representing Fortune 100 companies. Ms. Vestevich holds a BA of the University of Michigan and a JD from Wayne State University Law School.
Stephen M. Humphrey (Chairman of the Board) Stephen is the former President, CEO, and Board member of Graphic Packaging, Inc., a world leader in paperboard packaging and packaging machinery, with over $2B in annual sales. Mr. Humphrey has more than 40 years of diverse business experience, including executive positions with National Gypsum Company, Rockwell International, and General Electric Company.
Bob Simko Over his 30 year career, Bob has had senior leadership responsibility for technical, operations, supply chain and sales and marketing functions across diverse industries. Theses included specialty chemical, flexible and rigid packaging, pulp and paper, as well as residential building products. Bob holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
  Advisory Board
Dr. Phillip Scott (Scientific Advisor) Dr. Scott is the Director of the Emergency Stroke Team at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Scott has researched and published extensively in cerebrovascular ischemia and computer applications in emergency medicine. He has served on Steering Committees for Genentech, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, ATLANTIS Stroke Study, and AstraZeneca Stroke Specialists. Dr. Scott holds a BS in Electrical Engineering; magna cum laude from Duke University, and an MD from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
Dr. Robert J. Singer (Scientific Advisor) Dr. Singer is a nationally recognized neurosurgeon and a Neurovascular Surgeon at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the director of Pediatric Neurovascular Therapeutics and the Neurosurgical Director of the Neurointensive care unit. Dr. Singer completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He also completed fellowships in Interventional Neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center and Neurovascular Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Jeffrey E. Terrell (Scientific Advisor) Dr. Terrell is director of the Michigan Sinus Center and Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr. Terrell specializes in the medical and surgical management of patients with nasal disorders and sinusitis. He holds an MD from Harvard University and completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
