Get it right the first time!

 

A recent survey of physicians established that use of a MiniCAT at the point-of-care modified the initial diagnosis 75% of the time. 

 

In 57% of cases, medications were prescribed or modified as a result of CT scanning, leading to more accurate and improved patient treatment.

Accreditation Update:
 

Xoran Pilot Sites Underway!

 

Pilot Sites: The Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Computed Tomography Laboratories (ICACTL) has accepted two pilot sites using Xoran imaging technology. Both MiniCAT and xCAT systems are going through the ICACTL accreditation process at this time. The application process is being refined and will be complete prior to the September Academy meeting. Administrators: Jolene Eicher will present her first-hand experience as a MiniCAT accreditation pilot site at the AOA 25th Annual Education Conference. She will walk you through the requirements and go over the steps to get accredited!
