What is xCAT® ENT
The Xoran xCAT® ENT is a portable, volume computed tomography system designed for high-resolution bone window imaging of the sinuses, temporal bones and skull base. The portability of xCAT® ENT makes it ideal for use pre-, intra- and post-operatively to compare and confirm surgical plans and procedures.

Intraoperative
Physicians utilizing xCAT® ENT during FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) can improve the completeness of the procedure by acquiring pre- and post-operative scans. Pre-operative scans allow the physician to transfer updated images to their IGS systems, as the anatomy may have changed between diagnosis and surgery. Post-operative scans allow the physician to verify that the original surgical plans were successful, eliminating the need for follow-up procedures.

Mobile
xCAT® ENT is highly mobile with a very tight turning radius, making it maneuverable in small spaces. Additionally, it’s lightweight design and locking castors make it easy for a single person to transport and use. xCAT® ENT plugs into a standard wall outlet and it’s standalone design minimizes clutter.

IGS Compatible
xCAT® ENT is compatible with almost all modern IGS systems. Scans can be exported in DICOM format to your PACS server (when connected via WiFi) , burned to a CD or loaded onto an external storage device, such as a USB memory stick.
